Examples of recent solutions-oriented programs are:
SMS stands for Short Message Service, i.e. texting. As part of the Geico College Football Tour, in addition to the traditional web-based photo retrieval, Geico also wanted consumers to be able to retrieve their photos via SMS. Wishoo developers came up with the solutions necessary to make this a reality.

Consumers could text their retrieval number to a short-code to get their photo immediately as well as go online to retrieve their photo. To make this as effective as possible, Wishoo outfitted cellular cards on the field laptops for immediate upload of each photo as it was taken. Thus, participants could text, and get their photo on their way to their seats!
This four month retail installment challenged our EventPack system to simultaneously oversee two operating video booths. Its task was to capture 2 video camera feeds and a soundtrack from each booth and then write to a DVD playable on a participant’s home DVD player, all done on-site so each participant could take home their personal copy.

The cameras were set to capture the participant from 2 different angles and automatically cut from one camera to the other throughout their performance.

Wishoo designed an interface that allowed an operator to enter the participant’s name prior to entering the studio or booth. Once in the booth the system would give the participant a countdown and start playing the track and recording video.

When the performance concluded, EventPack tracked the conversion, mixing and burning process, prompting the operator to insert the blank disk and tracking the process all using the name of the participant. Using a dual unit setup allowed for multiple sessions to progress through the converting and burning process all while maintaining an active recording session.
What does a cell phone provider such as AT&T do when they want to demonstrate a new cell phone that comes with camera level capabilities? Call Wishoo to help showcase its photo capabilities and Bluetooth connectivity.

Photos were transferred via Bluetooth immediately to Wishoo’s EventPack system for creative branding using green screen and overlay applications. Distribution of the photo was split between online retrieval and printing at the events.

This was not a one day test. Events were executed at the Sugar Bowl, Chic-Fil-A Bowl and US Soccer matches. In-store promotions were also on the agenda.

When Nike and The Sports Authority teamed up for the Running Experience Tour, it was more than a fan experience. It was an opportunity to analyze a runners gait and suggest the best shoe for him/her based on their running style.

With a runner on a treadmill and a camera pointed at their feet, their gait was analyzed by an expert. However, an ordinary video camera cannot capture enough detail for proper analysis. Instead of 30 frames per second, you need 300 frames per second. By capturing 300 fps, there is enough detail on playback to accurately analyze the runner’s gait.

Capturing video detail means nothing unless you can do something with the data. Once the expert entered the gait information into the computer, that data was coupled with the consumers retrieval number and video and uploaded to a retrieval site.

Once there, a database matched up the runners gait with suggested shoes for that gait style. In addition to the runner’s video analysis, the suggested shoe and shoe size were displayed on the page, of course linking to The Sports Authority where they could purchase the shoe — all served up by Wishoo.

Wishoo had the privilege of photographing and documenting The Cheesecake Factory – Drive Out Hunger Tour. Our role was simple; provide a photo opportunity at each restaurant as a small Thank You for individual generosity. Participants who donated two cans of food to be passed on to a local food bank received a free sample of the new Red Velvet cheesecake. Mmm good!!!

EventPack requirements:
  • Name and city collected for placement on each photo
  • 10,000 frame mosaic grid requiring random placement of each photo
  • No vertical or horizontal sequencing of photos
  • Maintain mosaic image uncertainty until release day after completion of tour
  • Offering API access from the brand website to our photo mosaic viewer
  • Mosaic viewer offering direct photo find with retrieval number or via navigation arrow with zoom features
