Why Green Screen? Green screen is an excellent choice for a promotion when a brand wants to let participants interact with something that is either cost or time prohibitive to have at each stop on a tour, ie getting a photo taken with a celebrity or famous landmark. While Green Screen can cost a bit more than a standard photo promotion, it is much less than transporting a set, a car, or a celebrity around the country for a promotion. The photo opportunity is only limited to your imagination. Want to put someone on a snow covered mountain during July in Florida? No problem! There are times where green screen is a great option and times where it is not. As you can see from the sample video above, while there is movement to the video, the perspective doesn't really change. In other words, the camera is not zooming in and out, or moving side-to-side. If the camera on the background did have movement, the subject in the video green screen would not look realistic in the video.
